I will never forget my words to my son saying. “:Don’t ever bring that cat home, I can’t believe you went out and got a cat.”
Jump ahead to finding out how cool cats can be.

Those of you who know me, knew how Diggler took over our household and I thank you for always listening to my many Diggler stories!

It took 1 day for Diggler to capture my heart. Diggler was the best toy mouse fetcher ( way better fetcher than any of my dogs) best hide and seek player., and always my assistant chef in the kitchen making sure everything tasted just right.  My morning alarm clock was quickly surpassed for a paw tap to my nose and head  at 445am  to let me know HE NEEDED ME TO WAKE UP.  He became my morning dance partner and always had a neck hug for Lucy, which maybe followed by a quick karate chop.
I will always remember the paw swat to anything on the counter – it just simply could not be there and was much better suited for the floor.  10lbs of SAS and for a kitty who never learned how to meow, he certainly was vocal!
The many nights watching tv and snuggling are over. I will remember Diggler’s arms around my neck snuggling as I would be singing to him.  He would place his paw gently to my lips and say:  “no more singing grandma –  I need to rest now”.  You are resting now – I love you forever.

Diggler succumbed to Feline HIV at the age of 2years 2 months.  He joins his 3 other brothers in kitty heaven
