Every now and then we could all use a #staycation. I checked into (one of my favorites ) The Hotel Ivy for a wellness getaway and to enjoy this giant little gem in our city. The Hotel Ivy offers you a luxury stay in the heart of Minneapolis. I was welcomed in the lobby with music provided by a Minnesota Orchestra violin player, and the front desk check in covid process is quick and slick, I was in my Grand Deluxe Room on the 16th floor in no time at all! I had already booked my hydro facial at the Anda Spa and yoga session for the following morning so I headed down to Constantine in the basement of the tower for the best happy hour in town. Beer and a bump with tots for $9 was perfect! I headed out of the hotel for dinner to meet up with friends at Martina in the Linden Hills neighborhood. Once again I was reminded of all the quaint neighborhoods with storefronts and wonderful restaurants in our lovely city.
